The Cottages and house are set among towering pines, but each offers a clear view of the lake. Each two bedroom cottage is furnished with knotty pine interiors, stove, refrigerator, gas fireplaces, cooking utensils, dishes, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cable TV, blankets, and pillows. Also included is a deck, chairs, picnic table, grill and 14 ft. fishing boat. A campfire pit is located on the beach for evening campfires.

Meta Lake is a private, clear, springfed lake providing excellent swimming, fishing, water skiing, canoeing and relaxing. A canoe, paddleboat, swim raft and access to 3 shared piers are provided for your enjoyment. You may bring your own boat to launch on our beach, but please leave your jet skis at home. Also, just down the road is a public boat access to Cranberry Lake, on the Eagle Chain of Lakes.

Fish the 175+ acres of Meta Lake for walleye, musky, small and largemouth bass, and a variety of panfish including nice size crappie. Best fishing for walleye is May and June and again in the fall. There is an excellent spot to catch panfish all summer long right off the dock!

In 2001,  a new recreation room was constructed. There is ample room to enjoy indoor activities like ping pong, foosball, puzzles and group gatherings
